Hi, I'm
Jiarong (Annie) Guo

I'm an aspiring analyst with a foundation in data analysis, advertising, and economics.

This portfolio exists for two reasons. First, I have hands-on experience in building and coding with the most fundamental tools including SQL, Python, R, and Tableau. Second, and more importantly, I can produce business insights based on data, and I'm able to tailor it to different audiences while keeping my strategic thinking alive.

The work in this portfolio spans my time at Columbia University: predictive modeling, market research, data engineering, and experimental design. Each project started with a real business question and ended with a recommendation someone could act on.

Outside of work, I enjoy film photography, follow k-pop closely, and go hiking whenever possible. The collage on the left is pictures I took using film cameras.
